Mis Amigos

I had a party/gathering at my house at the date given on the picture. I try to specialize in milkshakes and always try to improve so I set up stickynotes where people could write constructive criticisms. There is a very wide variety. The drawings below I have no idea what inspired them, but the drawing above that could look like scribbling actually tells a story: 'Kendra and Matt arrived late into the night and laughter was in the air. Matt was one of the very last people to get milkshake that he specified for it to be EXTREMELY chocolatey and oreo-y. It was super black. As Matt just started consuming the black shake Kendra began to tell a story. As the story got more animated so did her movements. She swang her arms out expressively knocking Matt's cup out of his hand without even noticing if it weren't for the sharp cry from Matt's lungs. The flying elbow spilled the black shake on his pants and the floor. A harsh cleanup then followed.' Well maybe the drawing wasn't that descriptive, but you get the gist.

La segunda blog

Well previously I quickly commented on my liking of Spanish. Now I am quickly adding that my desire to become fluent in Spanish is rooted in two things: love of linguistics, and more importantly, love of people, to which Spanish can help me communicate with more people that have been put here on this earth. But you may say, don't actions speak louder than words and so shouldn't you you show your love through your actions. And I say yes and yes. But I'll add, to take the time to learn their language may be an important action to take in order to reach out to them. This is all for now.
